Parent participation

Clifton Hill Primary School welcomes and encourages parental participation in school activities. Involvement and participation include assistance with classroom activities, assistance on excursions and participation in special events or becoming a member of the School Council and/or its various subcommittees.

Other areas where parental involvement is encouraged are;

  • Library – repairing and reshelving books
  • Working Bees – working bees are planned throughout the year and parents are needed to assist in the maintenance of the school building and yard (alternatively a fee may be paid)
  • First Aid Room – washing and changing bed linen
  • School Fair – each classroom requires a coordinator for the fair and parental assistance on the day is essential for the successful operation of the fair.
  • Canteen – assisting the canteen manager with the preparation of lunches

Please contact the office on 9489 8333 if you are interested in assisting with any of the above activities.
